SDNGEA AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIPS
The South Dakota National Guard Enlisted Association Auxiliary is offering two $400 scholarships for the 2012 academic year. Unmarried High school seniors and college undergraduate students or vocational students are eligible. The student’s Father, Mother, or Grandparents must be a member of the South Dakota National Guard Enlisted Association and his/her spouse a member of the Auxiliary and/or retired career National Guard Person who is a member of the Enlisted Association and Auxiliary. Membership dues for 2012 must be paid by December 31, 2011, to be eligible for the scholarships. Applications are currently available and must be returned by March 1, 2012. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ EANGUS AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIPS There will be three EANGUS Auxiliary Scholarships, one in the amount of $1,250 and two in the amount of $1,000 each and one USAA scholarship of $1,000 available to high school seniors or college students. Full-time students as well as part-time students enrolled for at least 8 accredited hours may apply. Previous Auxiliary scholarship winners are not eligible. The following individuals are eligible to apply: * Unmarried, dependent sons and daughters of EANGUS Auxiliary members. * Spouses of EANGUS Auxiliary members; * EANGUS Auxiliary members. Be sure that the parent or spouse is an Auxiliary member and Auxiliary membership dues must have been paid by December 31, 2011 to be eligible for the scholarships. A South Dakota applicant was the recipient of a $1,000.00 scholarship at the National Conference held in Charleston, WV. Parents urge your sons and daughters to apply for the Auxiliary scholarship, spouses of EANGUS Auxiliary members and EANGUS Auxiliary members consider applying also.
